Baltimore-area restaurants open Christmas Eve & Christmas Day 2018

There are a number of restaurants in Charm City that will be open on Christmas Eve, while a select few are serving on Christmas Day. There are options to fit every budget.

The restaurant chains on this list will be open regular hours on Christmas Eve. Be sure to call ahead and confirm for Christmas Day, as some independently operated franchises opt to close or limit their hours.

Most of the upscale restaurants require reservations for these special days – you can reserve on OpenTable or call them directly.

Avenue Kitchen & Bar — 911 West 36th Street

Located in Hampden, this restaurant is just a 2-block walk to Miracle on 34th Street. Dine on Christmas Eve, enjoy a complimentary glass of Candy Cane Bubbles or Hibiscus soda, free parking, and a short stroll to see the lights display.

B&O American Brasserie — 2 North Charles Street

This downtown restaurant will be open on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day serving a three-course dinner for $45 per person from 5pm to 9pm.

Bar Vasquez — 1425 Aliceanna Street

Located in Harbor East, Bar Vasquez will serve a four-course pre-fixe Christmas Eve dinner for $59 from 5pm to 9pm. The restaurant’s regular a la carte menu will also be available.

Boston Market

There are several select locations in Maryland that will be open for dine-in and take-out on Christmas Day. Hours vary by location, so contact your local Boston Market for more information.

Cinghiale — 822 Lancaster Street

This Northern Italian restaurant in Harbor East is hosting The Feast of the Seven Fishes for $65 per person on Christmas Eve. Also known as “La Vigilia”, the tradition is not limited to fish, as the name implies but seven seafood dishes. Seating begins at 5pm, and the full a la carte menu will also be available

Denny’s

Christmas is this diner chain’s busiest day of the year. They will be serving breakfast, lunch and dinner all 24-hours of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. There are several locations around Baltimore.

Fogo de Chao — 600 East Pratt Street

The Brazilian steakhouse located at the Inner Harbor will be open on Christmas Eve from 11am to 9:30pm and Christmas Day from 11am to 9pm serving bone-in cuts of meat and seasonal specials with dinner prices all day. Children 6 & under are free and ages 7-12 are half-price.

Gunther & Co. — 3650 Toone Street

This Brewers Hill establishment will be open Christmas Eve from 5pm to 9pm serving special dishes for the celebrations in addition to its regular dinner menu.

Hard Rock Cafe — 601 East Prat Street

Open Christmas Eve for lunch and dinner. On Christmas Day, there will be a special Holiday menu.

IHOP

Open all day (24-hours restaurants will keep to schedule, hours may vary at other locations). Check here for the location near you.

Johnny’s — 4800 Roland Avenue

Head over to Roland Park on Christmas Eve, where Johnny’s will be serving a three-course dinner from 3pm to 9pm for $38 per person in addition to its regular menu.

Mama’s on the Half Shell — 2901 O’Donnell Street

This Canton establishment will be open on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

McCormick & Schmick’s — 711 Eastern Avenue

McCormick & Schmick’s will be open on Christmas Day.

Morton’s The Steakhouse — 300 S. Charles Street

Accepting reservation for both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Phillips Seafood — 601 E. Pratt Street

Phillips will be offering its full a la carte menu in addition to specials from their chefs on Christmas Eve.

Rusty Scupper — 402 Key Highway

Serving a special limited dinner menu from 4pm to 9pm on Christmas Eve.

Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse

Open Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Offering a traditional three-course holiday menu with a starter, main course and dessert for $45.95. You can also buy holiday favorites to take home. Verify with your local restaurant for participation.

Sotto Sopra— 405 North Charles Street

In Mount Vernon, Sotto Sopra will serve its a la carte menu plus holiday-inspired specials from 4pm to 10pm on Christmas Eve and from 12pm to 10pm on Christmas Day.

Starbucks

If you’re in need of caffeine, most free-standing locations are open on Christmas Day.

Twist Fell’s Point — 723 South Broadway

Serving traditional and modern chef creations on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day (open on Christmas Day all day until 8pm.) Order from the regular menu and ala cart limited menu. As always, kids eat for free.
