While the park is open dawn to dusk, the Pagoda is only open noon to 6 p.m. on Sundays from mid-April to mid-October.
Patterson Park– Free Fun for Families
Patterson Park, known as “Baltimore’s Best Backyard,” occupies more than 130 acres in southeast Baltimore and is home to myriad recreation facilities, including playgrounds, miles of biking/walking paths, ten tennis courts, an outdoor pool for summer fun and an indoor ice skating rink in the winter. The Boat Lake is popular for bird-watching and catch-and-release fishing.
From the top of the park’s iconic 1890 Pagoda you can see downtown Baltimore, several neighborhoods, the Patapsco River, Key Bridge and Fort McHenry.
