Watching comedy veteran Teddy Carpenter perform when he’s in the “zone” is no different than watching Michael Jordan dunk or Jimi Hendrix jam. It’s the essence of (comic) genius: Every punchline hits, every glance devastates, every twitch and tic sends the crowd roaring, louder than ever. It has to be experienced to be believed. One of the legends of HBO’s Def Comedy Jam, Carpenter has gone on to tape four comedy specials for BET.

Stand-up comic Big Jay Oakerson has performed on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, BET’s Comic View and P. Diddy’s The Bad Boys of Comedy on HBO. He recently performed in front of thousands of metal fans while hosting Rockstar Mayhem Fest. The New York Times called him a “Master of the Dirty Joke,” so you can be sure that he won’t hold back when he takes the stage.

This touring version of Whose Line Is It Anyway? starring Greg Proops, Jeff B. Davis, Dave Foley, and Joel Murray, is 90 minutes of hilarious improvised comedy and song all based on audience suggestions. Audience participation is key to the show so bring your suggestions and you might be asked to join the cast onstage. Known as the “Sergeant of Comedy,” Tony Roberts spent 10 years in the Army before embarking on a career in stand-up. He’s been seen on his own Showtime comedy special, Wired!, and on HBO’s Def Comedy Jam, BET’s ComicView, as well as the syndicated hits Showtime at the Apollo and Mr. Box Office. When he’s not cracking audiences up across the nation and beyond, Roberts has also appeared in a number of films and toured the country with the stage plays If These Hips Could Talk and Ain’t Nothing Like Family.

Comedy Central’s Workaholics fans know and love him as series regular Montez, but comedian Erik Griffin is also a popular headliner at comedy clubs across the country. He’s also starred in his own Comedy Central special and released a comedy album, Technical Foul, while scoring appearances on Live at Gotham, Comics Unleashed and Showtime’s Comics Without Borders. Griffin also popped up on History Channel’s Surviving the Holidays with Lewis Black.

Jordan Raybould is a rising star on the New York comedy scene, and now he’s hitting Joe Squared in Baltimore to share the love. As if that weren’t enough reason to make you want to turn off the TV and head out for some real laughs, Jordan’s bringing some of his funny New York friends with him. They’re people you’ve seen on Comedy Central, MTV, Netflix and other places.
Girl Code Comedian Carly Aquilino

Carly Aquilino is a stand-up comedian described by audience members as “funny” and by her father as “a huge mistake.” As a New York native, she first stepped on stage at Gotham Comedy Club and has since been quickly rising in the comedy scene, performing at the most popular clubs in New York. Carly feels proud of having her stand-up featured on Sirius XM radio and is especially proud that she once made her grandma Marilyn laugh so hard that her teeth fell out. Carly also starred in MTV’s Girl Code.

Mike Britt has appearanced on the Late Show with David Letterman, Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn, Def Comedy Jam and his own Comedy Central special.
