A graduate of West Virginia University, Dale Leatherman grew up in eastern West Virginia, 60-90 minutes from downtown Baltimore. A past president of the Society of American Travel Writers, Dale has spent many years exploring the world and writing about adventure travel, golf travel and equestrian sports. After years of budget-conscious travel, Dale is attuned to saving money. Donnelle Oxley was born in Washington, D.C. and educated at the University of Maryland and George Mason University. She taught English at Mt. Vernon High School in Mt. Vernon, Virginia, for 27 years before retiring to pursue a second career as a travel photographer. An inveterate shopper, she’s adept at finding bargains, especially for the plethora of cultural and sporting events in the Baltimore-Washington, DC area.
